Collection Information

Exportation Policy

Immediately after the sale, winning lots are exported to Antiquorum offices corresponding to the client’s address: European buyers’ lots are sent to the Geneva office, American buyers’ lots are sent to the New York office, Japanese buyers’ lots are send to the Tokyo office and all other Asian buyers’ lots are sent to the Hong Kong office.

  • For Geneva sales: Please contact our shipping manager at Geneva_shipping@antiquorum.com

  • For New York sales: To avoid having your winning lot(s) shipped to the office corresponding to the address given at buyer’s registration, please send an email to newyork_shipping@antiquorum.com immediately following your successful bid to ensure that your lot either stays in New York or is shipped somewhere other than the normal procedure as described above.

  • For Hong Kong sales: Please contact our shipping manager at hongkong_shipping@antiquorum.com

Shipping and Insurance Fees:

For Geneva sales only:
Insurance fee for lots won - 1% of the total invoice price will be charged to cover the insurance liability, as according to law, once the hammer falls the buyer is responsible for the insurance of the lot.

Importation Formality Fee:

1.5% of total invoice, not to exceed $500. For lots won by U.S. buyers in the Geneva or Hong Kong sales which are exported to the New York office, 1.5% of the total invoices will be charged to cover the importation costs.

Shipping Description

Shipping Procedure:

From the New York office: All watches are shipped via FedEx with supplemental insurance at the buyer’s expense. FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. Lots valued over $150,000 are shipped via Brinks. Brinks does not deliver to private residences. All clocks and horological paraphernalia are shipped by third-party shippers – at the buyer’s expense.

Clients who wish to ship their property via a non-insured carrier or by using their own shipping accounts must fill out a shipping waiver releasing Antiquorum of liability for any loss or damage of their property.

All clients must fill out a shipping form, provided with your invoice after a sale. Shipping expenses may be paid using a credit card. Shipping costs vary depending on the value of your shipment. For more information, please contact our shipping manager:

Collection Procedure:

For collection of lots from the New York office: The buyer will be required to fill out a release of merchandise form. Collection of lots won can only take place once the invoice has been paid in full. Please contact our shipping manager at:

NOTE:

Horological tools or clocks require special shipping and/or crating and may incur additional insurance fees. The buyer of such items must contact the appropriate office, corresponding to their successful purchase, in order to get an estimate.
