Juni 2007 - Im Anschluss an seine erfolgreichen Frühlingsauktionen in New York und Genf hat Antiquorum auf der heutigen Auktion in Hong Kong ein Gesamtergebnis von HK$ 58,451,840 (US$ 7,485,342/CHF 9,171,093/Euro 5,564,030) erzielen können. Dies stellt gegenüber der vorangehenden Hong Kong Auktion im November (HK$ 49,785,320/US$ 6,378,700 / CHF 7,811,316 / E 4,743,75 ) eine Steigerung um 20% dar. Es wurden 83% der 329 Uhren verkauft, die insgesamt 135% ihres Schätzwertes erreichten. Mit dieser Auktion konnte wiederum dreierlei gezeigt werden: die Stärke des Uhrenmarktes, die anhaltende Nachfrage nach seltenen und sammelwürdigen Uhren sowie die Bedeutung Hong Kongs als Tor zum asiatischen Uhrenmarkt. Neben den ortsansässigen Kunden kamen die Teilnehmer aus dem Auktionsraum auch aus Ländern wie den Vereinigten Staaten, Kanada, Italien, England, Australien, China, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesien, Korea und Singapur und boten mit Eifer gegen 313 Telephonbieter und 207 Internet-Bietern. Mehr als 7300 Kunden verfolgten die Online-Auktion. Die Top Lots verkauften sich gut. So erzielte eine Patek Philippe Ref. 2499 in Gelbgold aus der vierten Serie, Lot 322, einen Preis von HK$ 2,639,000(US$ 337,950 / E 251,206). Eine Tischuhr, die „Pendule Mystérieuse Modèle A“ von Cartier, Lot 304, brachte indessen HK$ 2,135,000 (US$ 273,408 /E 203,230). Eine Taschenuhr von Ulysse Nardin in Platin mit 10 Komplikationen, Lot 99, erreichte HK$ 1,743,000 (US$ 223,208 / E 165,916) und setzte einen Weltrekord. Eine Patek Philippe, Ref. 3450 ohne Schaltjahrsanzeige kletterte auf HK$ 1,455,500 (US$ 186,391 / E 138,549 ), während eine Patek Philippe, Ref. 5004 in Gelbgold, Lot 302, HK$ 1,283,000 (US$ 164,300 / E 122,128 ) einbrachte. Darüberhinaus erzielte die „Timezone Watch of the Year 2006“, eine Patek Philippe Zeitzonen-Armbanduhr der Ref. 5960P, Lot 157, stolze HK$777,000 (US$ 99,502 / E 73,962) . gut. So brachte ein „Seamaster
Chronograph“, Lot 276, in Gelbgold mit HK$49,560 (US$ 6,346/E
4,717) fast das doppelte seines Schätzwertes ein. Das Jaeger-LeCoultre
Armbanduhren-Set „Reverso
Four Seasons“ erzielte HK$ 660,800. Taschenuhren, die einst
für
den chinesischen Markt hergestellt wurden, waren heiss begehrt und
verkauften sich zu 100%. So fand Lot 101 „Mirror Image Pair – Flower
