Rare Patek Philippe Offered at Antiquorum’s December Sale

| New York, October 18, 2007– Antiquorum’s December sale of Important Collectors’ Wristwatches, Pocket Watches & Clocks sale will consist of 402 fine timepieces including an exceptional collection of Patek Philippe wristwatches.The auction will be held at The New York TimeZone on 57 St and Madison Avenue. Collectors will have the opportunity to bid on both modern and vintage watches, some of which will be sold at no reserve. These exquisite pieces can be seen in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York. |

The Highlight of the sale is the Patek Philippe
Ref 2497, first series. Produced in 1953, sold on April 20th, 1972.
It is a very
fine and rare, astronomic, center-seconds, 18K pink gold gentleman’s
wristwatch with perpetual calendar, and moon phases. |

Patek
aficionados will also be excited to see the Patek Philippe Ref 3448 “Without
Moon Phases”on the auction block. It is an extremely rare
and very fine, self-winding, 18K white gold wristwatch with perpetual
calendar. This magnificent timepiece was made in 1971 and is one of
only six known watches made by Patek Philippe featuring special prototype
dials without moon phases. Estimate: $ 350,000 - $ 450,000. (238000 - 306000 €) |

Breguet fans will want to bid on the Ref 3857 ; "1747 - 1997
- Breguet 250th Anniversary". Made in 1997 in only three
examples to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Abraham
Louis Breguet (1747 - 1823). Extremely fine and rare, minute repeating
platinum gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon
regulator, jump-hours, perpetual calendar with retrograde date, leap-year
indication. |

For the Audemars Piguet enthusiast, there is a “Grande
Complication Automatique” Audemars Piguet, Genève.
Made in 2005. Extremely fine and rare, large, minute-repeating,
astronomic, self-winding, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with
co-axial round button split-seconds chronograph, register, perpetual
calendar with indication of the weeks, and moon phases. Estimate: $ 250,000 – 350,000 (€ 170,000 – 238,000). |

In addition, there will also be a Patek Philippe Ref. 3450, first series. Production of this reference started in 1981. Fine astronomic, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, red dot for the leap year indication. Yet another superb watch from Patek Philippe being offered in the
sale is the Ref. 3448. Made in the 1974. Very fine and rare, astronomic,
self-winding, 18K white gold gentleman’s wristwatch with perpetual

Also, there is the FP Journe “Vagabondage” offered
in the sale. Made in 2004 in a limited edition of only 69 pieces
in platinum and 3 unique ones in each gold color. Very fine and very
rare, "tortue"-shaped, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch
with “wandering hour” indication and 18K pink gold movement.

Finally, there is a very rare Patek pocket watch which belonged to the Prince de Polignac (1832-1913) who was a distant relative of the Grimaldi family of Monaco and left his mark on American history as a General for the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Upon returning to France after the Civil War, he joined the French army as a General in the Franco-Prussian War. This beautiful pocket watch was made in 1900 and sold on August 5, 1901. It is a very fine and very rare, extra-large, silver, keyless pocket watch. Estimate: $ 6,000 - $ 9,000 / € 4,080 – 6,120. |
