Philippe Safari Tischuhr erbringt Rekordpreis von USD 128,900 auf
Antiquorum Auktion

New York, den 26. September
2007 – Antiquorums erste Auktion in diesem Herbst hat eine Summe
von 4,648,463 USD eingebracht. Auf der New Yorker Auktion “Important
Collector’s Wristwatches & Pockekt Watches” wurden
335 Stücke angeboten. Von diesen wurden 80% versteigert und erreichten
127% ihres Schätzwertes. New Yorks TimeZone war voll mit
Bietern aus dem Saal. Andere Bieter nahmen per Telephon oder per schriftliches
Gebot teil. Es gab desweiteren auch 380 Teilnehmer, die sich für
Online-Gebotsabgabe entschieden hatten. Starke Gebotsteilnahme war
aus Ländern zu verzeichnen wie Singapur, den Vereinten Arabischen
Emiraten, Japan, Frankreich, den Niederlanden und den USA.
“Das heutige Resultat hat gezeigt, dass der Sammlermarkt
trotz kürzlicher Schwankungen weiterhin stark bleibt”, so
Julien Schaerer, Direktor Uhren für Antiquorum USA.
Das Prunklot der Auktion war Lot 335, ein Audemars-Tourbillon
mit Minutenrepetition und Chronograph. Die Uhr erzielte einen Preis
von 299,600 USD. Auch für die Uhrenmarke Lange & Söhne
lief es gut. So verkaufte sich Lot 291, ein Schleppzeigerchronograph
fèr 117,400 und Lot 292, eine Lange 1 Tourbillon für 169,140
USD.
Eine Patek Philippe Safari Tischuhr erzielte einen
Rekordpreis von 128,900 USD. Desweiteren erzielte die Patek Philippe
World-Time Wall Clock für die bemerkenswerte Summe von 27, 140
USD.
Auch Jaeger Le-Coultre war gefragt. Eine Master Minutenrepitition
Antoine LeCoultre fand einen Käufer für 128,900 USD. Desweiteren
konnte sich auch Omega behaupten. Eine Speedmaster, Lot 249, erzielte
imposante 82,600 USD. Desweiteren erzielte auch Rolex gute Resultate.
Lot 267, eine Cosmograph in Gold verkaufte sich für 66,080 USD
und Lot 266, eine Cosmograph Daytona in Edelstahl verkaufte sich für
30, 680 USD.

Antiquorum Auctioneers
Antiquorum ist zweifelsohne das weltweit führende

weiteren Rekordpreis für eine moderne Uhr erzielte Antiquorum
im Jahr 2004. Die einzigartige Weißgold Kaliber 89 von
Patek Philippe erzielte einen Preis von CHF 6,603,500 (US$ 5,002,652).
Antiquorum führt seine Versteigerungen in Genf, New York
und Hong Kong zehnmal im Jahr durch. Zudem unterhält das
Auktionshaus Repräsentanzen in Paris, London, Milan, München,
Moskau, Shanghai und Tokyo.
