My Antiquorum

Beginning with its 2004 spring auctions, Antiquorum will open a new section of its website entitled: My Antiquorum.
Within this section of the site users can register for upcoming auctions and place absentee bids. In the future additional features will be added, such as my favorite lots and auction history which will enable the user to keep track of his/her past winning bids and lots he/she found particularly interesting.


Acessing My Antiquorum

The new online bidder registration process requires you to create a Usrname and a Password. This data is needed to access the My Antiquorum section of the site.

After entering your username and password, you will be logged-on.


The homepage of my Antiquorum lists the auctions for which you are registered. You will also see a list of additional auctions for which you are not yet registeredi: Auctions to register Once your registration has been accepted by Antiquorum, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from staff@antiquorum.com indicating your paddle number and PIN. For this reason, it is important to make sure that you have correctly entered your e-mail address during the application process.

To access the various pages of My Antiquorum you need to click-on on the tabs various tabs: Auctions, Absentee Bid, My Data, Payment Data and Logout.

The Auctions tab brings you to the homepage previously describe, the Absentee Bid tab allows you to place absentee bids, the my Data and Payment Data tabs allow you access your personal data, the Logout tab allows you to log-off My Antiquorum.


Placing Absentee Bids

To place absentee bids you need to click on the Absentee Bid tab. The following page will appear:


A list of auctions for which you are registered to bid. Click on the auction for which you would like to place bids (the orange highlighted text).A second page will appear


Here you must supply your paddle and pin number. You should have received this information by email from Antiquorum Staff. Once you have entered the correct paddle and pin number, you can view the absentee bid page:


On this page, you can place your absentee bids. To select lots, use the pull down menu, Select Lot, at the bottom of the page. Choose the lot on which you want to place a bid and the press the button go. A description of the lot will appear. In the Your Bid box, enter the amount of your absentee bid, then click the button Place an Absentee Bid. After you have placed your bid you will be advised if there is a problem with the bid you have placed, i.e., the system will prompt you if your bid is too low (below minimum estimate), or if you have selected an "invalid bid increment", or if "your bid has exceeded your credit limit".


It this example you can see that the bid has been submitted correctly, notice the the text 'Your bid for lot. 1 has been submitted' in the upper part of the screen. Also in the upper part of the screen with have your credit and lot information. Were you can see how much credit you have, the credit used so far for your absent bids, the credit available and the number of absent bids placed. On the far right you can see an orange highlighted text 'view bids' by clicking this text a window will popup showing all the lots for which you have placed an absent bid, as well as showing a summary of your absent bids you can delete any bids you would like to remove simply by clicking the 'delete' text nearby each lot in the list. Please note that it is not possible to delete absentee bids once the auction is in progress.
