Impressive Assortment of Panerai Wristwatches Presented in Antiquorum’s Upcoming Auction

New York, December 10, 2012 - A collection of highly sought-after limited edition Panerai watches in pristine condition will be included in Antiquorum's upcoming auction on December 13th. Examples include a Panerai PAM 373 Radiomir 3 Days in Platinum, a Ref. OP 6795 PAM 341 8 Day Radiomir Egiziano in Titanium and a Ref. 5218-301/A Mare Nostrum in Stainless Steel with pre-auction estimates ranging from $3K to $35K.
Amongst the remarkable collection of Panerai is the Panerai Ref. OP 6802 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante No. L 061. Made in a limited edition of 150 pieces in 2009, this is a very fine and rare, cushion-shaped, water resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with single button chronograph, independently adjustable hour hand, register, 8 day power and reserve indicator. It is accompanied by the original wooden box, chronometer certificate, certificate of origin, guarantee, instruction booklet, tool and spare strap.

Also offered in the sale is a Panerai Ref. OP 6806 PAM 339 8 Day Radiomir Composite. Produced in a limited edition of 1500 examples in 2010, this is a very fine, large, cushion-shaped, water-resistant, 8 days, composite wristwatch with independently adjustable hour hand and a composite Panerai buckle. Accompanied by the original wooden box, guarantee, instruction booklet, Chronometer Certificate and Certificate of Origin.

In addition, Antiquorum is pleased to present the Panerai Ref. 5218-301/A Mare Nostrum, made in 1994. This is a rare, large, water-resistant stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer. It is accompanied by the original mahogany box, guarantee and extra strap.
