November 28, New York -- Antiquorum, the world's premier watch auctioneers, is delighted to present its December 8th auction of "Important Watches & Jewelry" auction to be held on Thursday, December 8th at Antiquorum's New York offices located at 805 Third Avenue in New York City. An exceptional collection of luxury watches and jewelry will be offered just in time to kick off the holiday season! Among the highlights is a Patek Philippe Ref. 5213 minute-repeating wristwatch and an emerald cut 9.01 ct yellow diamond platinum ring. Previews will be held at Antiquorum's New York offices December 5th - 8th.

The top highlight of the sale is the exceptional Patek Philippe Ref. 5213 Minute-Repeater Retrograde Perpetual Calendar wristwatch in white gold. From the property of a distinguished collector and made in 2013, this is an extremely rare astronomic minute-repeating 18K white gold with retrograde perpetual calendar, and moon phases.

Another exceptional Patek Philippe offered is the Patek Philippe Ref. 5078 Minute-Repeater with Enamel Dial in Platinum. Sold in 2014, this is an extremely fine and rare minute-repeating wristwatch with white enamel dial. Adding to its desirability, it is accompanied by the original fitted wooden winding box, certificate of origin and platinum case back.

Antiquorum experts are also proud to offer a Patek Philippe Ref. 3970 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph with Champagne Gold Dial Retailed by Beyer in Yellow Gold, made in 1997. From the property of an East Coast gentleman, this is a very fine and rare 18K yellow gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar and moon phases. The rich champagne dial is a highly unusual and is a very rare dial color for this reference. According to our research, only three other examples with this color dial on a Ref. 3970 have previously appeared at auction.

Lovers of fine jewelry will be drawn to the exquisite large platinum and yellow diamond ring offered in the sale. It is a large centrally set emerald-cut yellow diamond (Fancy brownish-yellow 9.01 ct, VS1 clarity) flanked by round and tapered diamonds (approx. 5 ct. mounted in platinum). This outstanding ring is offered with a GIA certificate, GIA grading report and separate independent appraisal and a fitted box. Ring size 7.00.

Another exceptional Patek Philippe offered is the Ref. 2597, made circa 1960. From the property of the family of the original owner, this is a very fine and rare 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an independently adjustable hour hand. As world travel became more popular in the 1950's, watchmakers saw a need to design a watch for travelers that is easily adjustable to the local time. The production of this watch started in 1958. Produced in two series, the First Series, as seen here, with an independently adjustable hour hand with two buttons on the side which move the hour hand forwards and backwards by one hour without engaging the minute hand; and the Second Series with a secondary adjustable hour hand in blued steel showing the home time and local time simultaneously.

Vacheron Constantin Collectors will be eager to acquire the Vacheron Constantin Ref. 30051 Tourbillon Skeleton in Pink Gold. Sold in 1994, this is an extremely fine and rare 18K pink gold skeletonized wristwatch with twin-barrel one-minute tourbillon and 42 hours power reserve indication.

Chopard is well represented in the sale with a Chopard Ref. 4250 Imperiale Tourbillon Baguette Diamonds in 18K Pink Gold. Made in 2010, it is a very fine and rare 18K pink gold baguette diamond chronometer wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and 8-day power reserve. It is further accompanied by the original fitted box and instruction booklet.

Also for the diamond aficionado, there is an exceptional Graff diamond choker necklace in platinum and yellow gold with matching bracelet. The choker diamond necklace features high quality round brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds mounted within graduated platinum and yellow gold sections. The approximate overall length is 38 cm, signed Graff. Similarly, the matching Graff bracelet is platinum and yellow gold with high quality round brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds mounted within platinum and yellow gold sections. Made in 1974 for the Peruvian Air Force, this is a very rare stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachymeter and anti-reflective black bezel graduated to 200 units per hour on a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet.
